The Children’s Day celebration was conducted at Algebra Global School,
Koppam, Palakkad, on 14th November 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The
program honored the significance of children in shaping the future, aligning with the
global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that emphasize quality education,
equality, and well-being.
Students from kindergarten to grade 10 participated enthusiastically in a series of
engaging cultural and educational activities. The program commenced with the morning
assembly led by teachers, including a prayer song, pledge recitation,
thought-for-the-day, and a news presentation. These activities emphasized values such
as inclusivity and knowledge sharing, reflecting SDG 4 (Quality Education).
The cultural segment included vibrant dances, melodious songs, and
thought-provoking drama performances by the students. These activities fostered
creativity and cultural awareness, resonating with SDG 3 (Good Health and
Well-being) by promoting mental well-being and confidence among children.
Speeches delivered by students on the importance of Children’s Day highlighted
their aspirations and rights, linking to SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by promoting
awareness of equal opportunities for all. Teachers actively participated, showcasing
solidarity and encouragement through their performances.
The event concluded with a sense of joy and unity, reinforcing the school’s
commitment to holistic development and sustainability principles. Through this
celebration, Algebra Global School effectively underscored its alignment with the SDGs,
